The Postigo family

Made up of Tomás and his four children Gabriel, Alberto, Juan and Nicolás. Their passion for wine was passed on by their father and that means that all of them are already involved in the running of the winery, from the oldest to the youngest, thus bringing together tradition and continuing down the generations.

The passion for grapes

It’s been many years since Tomás, one of the most venerable winemakers in Ribera del Duero with more than thirty-five vintages to his name, began to instill in his children all of his knowledge and love for wine. The four have grown up in the winery, in a special environment learning the importance of a job well done, prioritizing quality and attention to detail, all paramount in Ribera del Duero.
The fact is, this family is one of the most important factors in the rise to prominence of and the production of Tomás Postigo wines. The goal to always imprint that characteristic of daily work that is always carried out with care. A personal stamp from the family that demonstrates the closeness and their humility that is shown in their final product, in each and every one of their bottles.
For Tomás it is critical in his objective; accomplished by working hand in hand with his four children, but it is only the first step. This excitement leads him to believe that there will be many generations that will come after him in the winery and that they will continue on the ideas and knowledge learned from him in the winery that he founded in 2008.
