Sustainable building

ISO 9001
To reduce the amount of waste generated and to apply recycling and recovery protocols for waste materials. To use the by-products of the winery, as a means of new raw materials for production.

This certification process requires a verification of the winery meeting the requirements laid out in the certification standard, as well as the continued quality control that define this standard in order to guarantee ones confidence in it. Afterwards, an annual review is carried out as well to make sure it is maintained. ISO 9001 defines a quality management system based on compliance with 8 quality management principles, based in turn on an idea for continuous improvement, which helps drive us to be continuously seeking to improve ourselves over time.

Thanks to this standard, the quality management system of Tomás Postigo Winery is recognized as being based on standardized international guidelines. Because of this, our winery gains added value that generates a competitive advantage for our customers as well as our suppliers.

At the same time, it has provided the winery with a self-evaluation system that is focused on our continual improvement, basing on a pioneering quality management system
