Dark, intense cherry color with beautiful tears running down the glass
Complex and seductive on the nose, with floral and red fruit aromas, seasoned fruit, licorice, tobacco and hazelnut, finely balanced with the oak, which provides fresh notes of eucalyptus and with a finish of roasted caramel.
Soft and approachable, giving way to an aromatic richness and incredible expression. Tasty, think mouthfeel and with a strong tannic structure that doesn’t oversaturate the mouth and guarantees a long aging timeframe in the bottle.
Tempranillo (90%), Caberet Sauvignon (5%) and Merlot (5%)
Harvested from a selection of vineyards in Ribera de Duero between 750 and 1000 meters altitude. Hand harvested into 12 kilogram boxes and brought directly to the winery. Limestone, sandy-loam soils predominately with medium-sized stones.
12 months in 225 liter French oak barrels. At the end of barrel aging, 30 different wines were produced with different characteristics, depending on the vineyard, varietal and oak producing this final blend. Part of the malolactic fermentation was done in barrel. Clarified with natural egg whites.
