The winter of 2015 – 2016 was cold and dry. Spring was not very warm and with heavy rain in April and May, with some moderate sun. The summer was very dry and hot, with maximum temperatures above average. Weather wise, it was an almost perfect year for the vineyard. The harvest began on October 4 and ended on November 3 with Cabernet Sauvignon being the final grape harvested. The clusters came in healthy and without molding, as there was good weather and little rain. The yields were higher than expected yet the quality was excellent.
