Beautiful ripe red and black fruit. Subtle notes of the terrior, especially floral and mineral notes reminiscent of graphite. The oak is well balanced on the nose and complements the fruit with subtle notes of freshness and a hint of balsamic.
Tasting phase
A heavy and full bodied wine with a long of life ahead of it. Ripe, sweet tannins balance nicely with the acid making a very pleasant and long-lasting finish. The percentages of other varietals provide strength and balance to the Tempranillo.

harvest
The winter of 2014 – 2015 was cold and dry. Very warm spring with temperatures in May reaching above 30 degrees C, with a lot of sunshine. Summer was the second hottest since 1961, only being surpassed by 2003. Summer was also very dry. The harvest began on September 23, after an unusually cool month and ended on October 16 with the picking of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes arrived healthy due to the good weather and no rain, however, with yields well below projections.
aging
12 months in 225 liter French oak barrels, from selected forests. At the end of aging, 35 different wines were made, depending on vineyard, varietal and type of barrel. This wine is the final blend of all of them.

During winemaking, exclusively gravity fed systems were used to be as gentle with the wine as possible. The grapes were de-stemmed and whole berry fermentation was one in tanks. Fermented with native vineyard yeasts.
